ABOUT

Casa Elso is a project dedicated to handcrafted silver objects. Exploring the raw textures and organic forms of metal, each piece is limited and one-of-a-kind.

Inspired by a desire to redefine conventional notions of flowers highlithing their sensual, resilient, and crazy aspects —rather than their popular representation of delicacy and beauty.

Founded by Mexican designer Sofia Lezama, the design and sculpting process takes place in Los Angeles, CA, and comes to life in a local workshop in Mexico City.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

My name is Sofia Lezama, and I am the founder and designer of Casa Elso. I sculpt flowers by hand, primarily using the lost wax method. I don’t just make jewelry—I create objects.

I’m fascinated by how metal can be molded into anything we imagine, how it can merge with other textures and materials, yet still remain the main character. I turn molten chrome into beauty.

“FLOWERS may not be new to the world—but they are special to me. Flowers have always existed, and always will. I’ll keep creating them, even if the entire world admires them too”.
